Nursery Manager

Location: Looe Primary Academy

Our new Nursery provision opened in September 2019 for children between the ages of 2 - 4 years old. The Nursery is situated within the Early Years provision and enjoys beautiful scenery and plenty of space for the children to enjoy the outdoors as well as good indoor facilities.

We are delighted to be able to offer the exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join our team. We are looking for someone who has the passion and ambition to drive the nursery to the next phase of its development alongside the Early Years Lead.

This position is fixed term until July 2020 in the first instance, working 31.5 hours per week across 5 days. However, we would consider part time hours for the right candidate.

We have a friendly team of staff within a highly regarded school and supportive community.

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Location: Wadebridge Primary Academy

Closing Date: 27/02/2020

Wadebridge Primary Academy are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our nursery division.

We are looking to appoint a forward thinking, positive and innovative individual who will be based in our nursery. The right candidate will be flexible, friendly and committed to driving children's learning forward across EYFS.

This position is fixed term until the end of the summer in the first instance. Working 28.75 hours per week (term time only).

The successful candidate must hold NVQ Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent). Previous experience working as a HLTA or running a room is desirable.

Upper KS2 Teacher

Location: St Cleer Primary Academy

We are seeking to appoint a full time KS2 Teacher with Year 5 and/or Year 6 experience for our small village school. To start after the Easter break.

Community Governor

Location: Blisland Primary Academy

Blisland Primary Academy is seeking Community Governors to add to the Governing Body to help drive the strategic development and ethos in the school. A community governor can be anybody who lives or works in or around the areas in which the school is located. We are looking for people with a wide range of experience, and candidates do not need to be experts in education. We seek individuals who have drive and energy and are willing to use their skills to support the school and contribute to the educational outcomes of our pupils. Your knowledge of the local community is vital. A key skill for all governors is to be able to question and challenge and work as part of the team of governors and school leaders to identify viable solutions to problems and opportunities.
As part of Bridge Schools Trust support to new governors is provided through an established induction process with ongoing opportunities to develop skills through training and shared best practice.
Local Governing Bodies meet up to 6 times a year and the role involves looking at the data and information provided in the form of a Head of School report and other documentation before the meetings, thus each meeting requires preparation. You will also be expected to visit the school at least once each half-term so you can understand how the policies work in practice and how the data plays out in the classroom. This provides you with knowledge about your school so you can represent this to the stakeholders including Parents/Carers, the Staff and the community.
